PENSONS DEMAIN À PARTIR DE NOS BESOINS LE 28 NOVEMBRE 2024

OBJECTIVES OF MEETING AGIR

AGIR was conceived and implemented by the Gendarmerie nationale to share our needs and enable manufacturers to design solutions to meet them. More than just an exchange of ideas, these meetings are a real catalyst for public orders, with more than €2m worth of contracts already signed with companies we have met at previous events.

What are the objectives of this 4th edition?

  • To act as a melting pot, bringing together the innovation community from French government departments (Ministries of the Interior, the Armed Forces, Justice and the Economy), private companies of all sizes and the research sector.
  • To be a vehicle for accelerating the capabilities of government actors.
  • To envision the future by engaging our students and future engineers in the process of improving tools by setting up a low-tech hackathon in partnership with the Defence Innovation Agency (Ministry of Defence) and the Centurion programme.

Build an ever-expanding innovation ecosystem!
Increase dialogue and initiate exchange!

WHO PARTICIPATES ?

  • Program Directors from government entities, as well as anyone who has a need to express
  • The entrepreneurial fabric, including large companies, very small businesses, start-ups and individual innovators
  • The research sector (universities, research centers, etc.)

THEMATIC ROUND TABLES AND WORKSHOPS

The AGIR Meetings are the ideal venue for exchanges, featuring numerous round tables and workshops taking place throughout the day. These roundtables will provide an opportunity to reflect on issues relating to innovation, industry and research. A diversity of experts will offer a range of testimonials from ministry staff, the solutions and needs of industry representatives, the expert insights of public procurement lawyers, and the perspectives of parliamentarians and figures from the nonprofit sector, all the while remaining open to your questions.

The workshops will showcase solutions already built around the AGIR approach.

HACKATHON LOW TECH

Co-organised with the French Ministry of the Armed Force, the French Defence Innovation Agency (AID),

It will be dedicated to the theme of ‘Low Tech: an innovative approach to the design of useful, accessible and sustainable technologies or services for defence and security’, with the aim of identifying new solutions that can meet operational needs and/or deal with blocking elements by moving away from an ‘all-technology’ approach. As part of this innovative approach to the search for low-impact and resilient technologies, students from a number of engineering, and design schools, and University Institutes of Technology (IUT), will have 24 hours to brainstorm, discuss and work on more than twenty project proposals designed to meet the needs of the participating administrations.

Registration

INNOVATION & PREVENTION AWARD CEREMONY

This day will also be an opportunity to recognize and highlight the gendarmes behind innovative solutions, the teams behind successful transformation projects and the staff behind pioneering prevention solutions. It will also be an opportunity to reward the students who won the “Low-tech hackathon”, which will have taken place over the previous 24 hours.
